Eligibility
- Age 18+
- Region: open globally (some lobbies were region-locked for latency testing)
- Platform: PC and mobile only — no PS5 in Co-Ex
Application steps
- Sign in to a Perfect World account.
- Visit the official Co-Ex application page.
- Fill in device specs and a short combat-game experience survey.
- Wait for an invite email — invites went out in three waves.
NDA
The Co-Ex was under strict NDA at the start, with content embargoes lifting in stages: streaming was unlocked roughly 3 weeks in.
What was tested
- Prologue + Chapter 1 main story
- Three districts of Hethereau
- Combat with a reduced 10-character roster
- Anomaly contracts and a stripped-down City Tycoon
